The Hold the Smile blogger, Masa, had promised a glimpse into the legend's dark heart. In the depths of the tunnel, a figure emerged from the shadows, lips grotesquely carved into a perpetual grin. Masa snapped a photo, and the flash illuminated the horror: the figure's eyes were black voids, and its skin was a latticework of fine, lip-like stitches.
