Did you know that the fall of the Roman Empire was partly due to a bad case of lead poisoning, the Romans used lead pipes to carry water which led to widespread poisoning, and it's believed that even the Roman Emperor himself was affected, no wonder they made some pretty crazy decisions. The empire was also plagued by corruption, with officials selling public offices to the highest bidder, it was basically a real-life game of "The Hunger Games" but instead of fighting to the death, they were fighting for power and wealth.
