As we stepped into the abandoned house, the trees seemed to lean in, their branches tangling above us like skeletal fingers. Inside, flickering lights danced across walls smeared with decay. Creaking floorboards echoed through the halls like a chorus of restless spirits. We discovered a room filled with antique dolls, their faces frozen in perpetual screams. Suddenly, Emily vanished. We frantically searched, but only found her reflection in a shattered mirror, her eyes black as coal. The house seemed to shift, its walls closing in.
