As the stormy night wore on, nine-year-old Kaidō's frantic search for his beloved cat, Mochi, led him to the old, creaky attic of their family's antique shop. Suddenly, a faint meowing echoed from within a dusty trunk. Kaidō's heart leapt as he flung open the lid, and Mochi's bright eyes sparkled up at him. Overjoyed, Kaidō scooped up his soggy but safe cat, relief washing over him. As they descended into the warm shop, Kaidō's mother smiled, "I knew you'd find her, Kaidō. Mochi's a lucky charm, and she's lucky to have you."
